Timing is EVERYTHING | Bathroom Renovation Edition

Preparing for your bathroom remodel does not have to be stressful! Just as with most projects the key is timing and planning!

Keep an open line of communication with your contractor and designer to ensure that materials are ordered and available before the demo begins.

Tile orders may sometimes be able to be fulfilled in 5-7 days. Custom handmade, hand-painted tiles or back order tiles could take up to 12 weeks. Play it safe and make sure your tile orders are placed at least 4-8 weeks before your demo date.

Fixtures should be ordered early. These products can take 3 to 4 weeks to be fulfilled even from big-name manufacturers. High-end products can often take as long as 8 to 12 weeks to arrive.

Vanities and cabinetry can take 3-6 weeks and will vary between manufacturer. When you order check the lead time to ensure it will arrive when your contractor needs it.

Lighting may also take several weeks to arrive.

When tackling on a renovation it’s never a good idea to rush your self. Take the time to view materials and ensure that they will arrive prior to your demo date.

We hope that this will be of value to you when starting to plan your next bathroom remodel. Don’t forget we are here to help you maintain your budget and timeline.
